C'Est La Vie

Sitting at an outdoor table, in the shade of trees and under bright blue umbrellas, listening to two men at the next table speaking French -- for a moment I had the illusion that I was enjoying myself in an outdoor café in the French countryside. But I was actually on Main Street in Sarasota, outside C'Est la Vie, a small restaurant specializing in breakfast and lunch. As the name indicates, the accent here is French, and C'Est la Vie operates a small bakery as well as the restaurant.
