Although often batted around, the description "family restaurant" is often simply a marketing ploy. In the case of Ferrari's, however, it's the real deal. In this mother-son partnership mom Vincenza Aquino presides over the dining room, while her son Marcello runs the kitchen. It's an arrangement that works quite well, with Vincenza's large personality animating the dining room, while Marcello serves up flavorsome traditional Italian fare from the back.
